Note: There are slight differences in assembly for 8’x10’ and 9’x12’ rugs (starting at 45 seconds into the video). When you roll up the Rug Cover, design side in, start from the longer side for an 8x10 rug and the shorter side for a 9x12 rug.
A Few Reminders
1. Before you begin: To maximize the performance of the non-slip Rug Pad, ensure the area you intend to lay your rug on is clean, dry, and free of any dirt or other debris.
-
Indoor-only rugs (Flatwoven, Tufted, Plush): Avoid laying the rug on flooring areas with high humidity (i.e. right next to a vent).
-
Outdoor/Indoor* rugs (Outdoor, Re-Jute): While your rug is water-resistant, avoid letting it sit wet for prolonged periods of time.
2. Our Rug Cover is designed to be bigger than your Rug Pad to make sure that the Rug Pad stays out of sight once assembled. Please leave about 2-4 inches of overhang on every side.
3. Do not tuck the Rug Pad into the silicone corners underneath the Rug Cover. These are designed to weigh down the corners of the Rug Cover so it lays flat on the floor. The care tag should be facing the ground.
4. If the corners appear lifted, simply pull the Rug Cover up, give a little tug, then smooth the Cover back down.
Only our Standard Rug Pads are safe for outdoor use
