Caring for your Performance Weave rug is simple - your Performance Weave rug is naturally stain resistant and easily spot cleans, so we don't anticipate you needing to wash it much. However, if you would like to wash your rug, just follow these easy steps to wash, dry, and refresh it so it looks and feels its best:
1. Remove the soiled rug from the floor and put it in the washer with the design side facing out. Machine wash cold with a mild, non-bleach detergent. Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
2. We have the most washable rugs on the planet, but unfortunately, some sizes are just too big to fit in a home washer. We recommend taking 8x10 rugs to a laundromat with commercial-sized washers. For more details, check out our Washing Guide.
3. Tumble dry thoroughly on low heat. Moisture can affect the nonslip backing so ensure your rug is fully dry before putting it back on the floor. Just like you wouldn't put on a wet shirt out of the dryer, you don't want to put a wet rug down on your floor. We recommend a minimum of:
* One cycle: 2x3, 3x5, and all runners
* Two cycles: 5x7
* Three cycles: 6x9 and 8x10
Tip: After the first cycle, remove the rug, adjust any damp areas, and run the second cycle for even drying.
4. Once fully dry, unroll or unfold your Performance Weave, and voila! If your All-in-One Rug is sliding, it is telling you that it is still a little bit wet. Pick up your rug and put it through one more dry cycle (or maybe even half of one!) When your rug is dry, it won't slide around your floors.
