The Standard Rug Pad alone is 4 millimeters or one-eighth of an inch thick. The Cushioned Rug Pad alone is 10 millimeters or two-fifths of an inch thick.
If you want to put the Rug System under your door, we recommend measuring your door clearance to ensure there’s enough space for the Cushioned Rug Pad (10 millimeters or two-fifths of an inch thick) and your Rug Cover of choice, as shown in the table below. For doorways with less clearance, our Standard Rug Pad is a great option.
